Diaper Fortress: WTJV's Heartwarming Welcome for a New Baby Boy

Let's talk about something heartwarming that went down recently. You know that feeling when you're part of a team that feels more like a family? Well, we just hit a new level of awesome.

Travis Evans, one of our safety managers, just welcomed a baby boy into the world, and you can imagine the excitement buzzing around the office. I mean, who doesn't love a cute, squishy baby? But here's the kicker – our amazing WTJV staff went above and beyond to show their love and support.

You ready for this? Brace yourselves. We pooled together and bought over 1000 diapers for Travis and his new bundle of joy. Yep, you read that right – 1000 diapers! That's a whole lot of diaper changes covered, folks.

And to make the surprise even sweeter, we decided to have a little fun with it. Picture this: Travis comes into work, expecting a normal day, only to find his cubicle blocked by a towering wall of diapers. It was like something out of a diaper-themed fortress!

Why diapers, you ask? Well, anyone who's been around babies knows that those little bundles of joy can go through diapers like nobody's business. And let's face it, new parents have enough on their plates without having to worry about running out of diapers.

But it wasn't just about the diapers. It was about showing Travis that we're here for him, that we're one big family, celebrating the highs and supporting through the lows. Because that's what family does, right?

Seeing the smiles and gratitude on Travis's face when we surprised him with this mountain of diapers – let's just say there might have been a few happy moments. It's moments like these that remind us why we love being part of the WTJV team.

So, here's to new beginnings, to supporting each other through thick and thin, and to celebrating the little miracles that make life so special. Cheers to Travis and his beautiful baby boy – may your journey together be filled with love, laughter, and just the right amount of diaper changes.

Louisville VA - North Parking Garage

          The erection of the north parking garage has started! Need a parking spot? The precast will be completed in the summer of 2023. The garage will have 1, 289 parking spots. Precision Stone is the contractor performing the work.       The erection will be completed in 18 sequences. It is composed of 1,177 precast members that includes columns, inverted tees, and double tees. The garage features six levels and will have architectural panels installed on the fa çade. Work can be tedious and overwhelming yet Nationwide performed like the professionals they are.  From a QHSE perspective they "Planned the work and Worked the plan". Deliverable items such as Toolbox Talks and equipment inspections are submitted consistently on a timely basis. We have never had a safety compliance issues.
